This is a new and exciting opportunity we are looking to add to our Host Home program as we continue to grow this unique program.
Host Homes connect adults with intellectual disabilities and chronic mental illness with a Host Home (a private family home with a carefully selected/matched provider), so individuals can have the independence and thrive to live their best life.
What You'll Do The Behavior Analyst will join an interdisciplinary team to provide skill-based interventions to address the behavioral needs of adults with a mental health diagnosis or disability.
The primary goal is to assist clients and their support team in building additional skills to manage behavior so that they are successful in their Host Homes placement.
The Behavior Analyst will provide ongoing assessments to meet clients' needs; will develop, implement and make changes to the behavior support and crisis plans; and will evaluate the progress of clients.
This position supports Iowans around the state, and travel is required so that clients may be seen in their homes.
LSI provides mileage reimbursement.
Host Home services are provided 24/7, so work-related activities may occasionally occur outside of normal business hours and on the weekends.

Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other approved human services-related degree 3 years of experience in behavioral health services, mental health services or disability services or equivalent Completed board certification (BCBA).
Will consider candidates who are scheduled to take the certification exam within 6 months.
