Technology Asset Manager - REMOTE

This is a remote position, however the candidate should be within driving distance of the Clive, IA or Fort Worth, TX office to be able to come in when needed.
THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a talented Technology Asset Manager.
The Asset Manager has four primary areas of responsibility for Co-op Solutions:
Asset Identification and Tracking, Technology Asset Disposition, Inventory Management, Software Asset Management.
We are looking for someone that can manage all the data, ask the right questions, and manage the risk and budget around our assets.
WHAT YOU CAN LOOK FORWARD TO:
Asset Identification and Tracking:
Responsible for order reconciliation of technology assets, detailed asset record creation, asset distribution to support teams, and lifecycle asset tracking for all of Co-op technology asset acquisitions.
Ensure all assets are appropriately and accurately recorded to ensure the accuracy of the data in ITSM asset management systems and procurement system.
Responsible for processing, tracking, and auditing IT assets across the organization.
Responsible for the creation and modification of supplemental asset records due to data omissions in the order request or order fulfilment process in accordance with compliance standards.
Technology Asset Disposition:
Responsible for processing, monitoring, and disposing of all IT assets for Co-op Solutions.
Responsible for conducting disposition requests and adjusts asset records when necessary to accurately reflect Co-op Solutions IT assets.
Includes working with disposal vendors to ensure proper disposal processes are adhered to and maximum value is obtained from retired assets.
Verifies adherence to federal and local technology disposal legislation in addition to established Co-op Solutions Standards and policies.
Accountable for the management of retired asset storage areas.
Inventory Management:
Accountable for managing the inventory for capital surplus assets, operational spare assets, and consumable parts.
This position must maintain secure and organize storage areas across multiple sites in the US and ensure the accuracy of the inventory in both the capital surplus and operating parts.
Own the lifecyle of Co-op IT Assets, including inventory stage - including validation of inventory through auditable routines.
Software Asset Management:
Work with asset owners to validate asset data discrepancies.
Experience managing software deployments using 3rd party consoles/portals (Microsoft O365, VMware, Adobe, Cisco SmartNet).
Identify cost save opportunities related licensing.
Coordinate with Procurement and Finance for proper software cost allocation.
Organize and maintain multiple software deployment trackers.
Responsible for the audit, compliance, receiving and tracking of software licenses through procurement and software discovery tools.
Create and track work requests to distribute software licenses.
Assist with assigning licenses or subscriptions as required.
Compare entitlements to deployments and provides associated analysis including needs for purchases.
Identify, analyze, and monitor inquiries or requests to ensure complete resolution.
Maintains accountability for the accomplishment of team and organizational goals.
Build strong internal and external partnerships.
Actively supports Co-op's strategic future, culture, and leadership practices.
Proactively pursues department/company training and shows expected progress on learning plan.
Keeps informed on new products, product enhancements, system changes, and compliance issues.
Research issues escalated from tier I within established timeframes.
Set up new clients and users on basic systems.
Ensure actions are in compliance with industry rules and regulations and security guidelines.
Communicates information to clients regarding escalated issues.
Review outstanding inquiries or requests to ensure quality standards are met.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Experience with analytical and data management.
Experience with planning and utilizing financial tools and techniques.
Experience with facilitation skills and experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders.
Experience in developing plans, prioritizing activities and driving execution.
Proficiency with Asset management tools like SAP, ServiceNow, or similar systems/tools.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to build trust, with a natural desire to do well and have fun.
Ability to act independently with minimal direction from supervisor.
REQUIRED EDUCATION and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, IT or related field.
5 years IT Asset Management Industry experience.

In accordance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected salary range for this position is between:
$83,000.
00 - $107,000.
00 Actual Pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
