Job Category Technology Compensation Overview The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country.
The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
As part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards.
Salary Range $125,300.

00 Target Openings 2 What Is the Opportunity? Travelers is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Salesforce to join our organization as we grow and transform our Technology landscape.
Individual will complete advanced software end to end engineering tasks that span many parts of a system including designing, developing, analyzing, configuring, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, documenting, health monitoring/alerting, and implementing based on user or system specifications.
Individual will also demonstrate experience to independently design/build/implement solutions, establish and champion software engineering best practices and standards.
The work arrangement for this position is based on location.
What Will You Do?
Lead team through design, development, and implementation solutions present varying degree of complexity, to support expansion and enablement of Salesforce capabilities in support of Business Insurance strategic business imperatives.
Oversee complex analysis, advanced level design, debugging, configuration, and development of capabilities for impactful and high visibility business functionality
Review and approve detailed solution designs, provide guidance to junior team members, perform code reviews, and ensure appropriate artifacts are reviewed and approved
Work with other technical leads, architects, platform, and product owners to identify and recommend technical solutions and alternatives related to the Salesforce platform implementation for Travelers assess tradeoffs and impact analyses as part of the recommendations
Complete cloud-based implementations through custom development in Salesforce Lighting (Aura, LWC), and Apex, as well as out of the box Salesforce configurations.
Participate in agile delivery activities such as design, estimating, retrospectives and continuous improvement
Ensure availability of the Salesforce platform and provide on-call support to resolve production issues.
Experience working with distributed cross-functional/cross-organizational stakeholders
Excellent verbal and written communications
Experience leading quality in Agile programs and teams
Perform other duties as assigned.
What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?
Salesforce solution designer and developer (APEX, Aura, LWC) experience
Experience in Salesforce CRM integration, developing and deploying custom integration solutions using APIs and API management systems
Salesforce.
com certifications such as Certified Administrator, Certified Platform App Builder, Certified Platform Developer I, Certified Platform Developer II are strongly preferred.
Achievement of additional certifications and demonstration of advanced learning is desirable
Expertise in application of test design strategies and techniques, knowledge of test automation tools like Selenium
Experience with complex distributed systems/applications and Cloud Data Platform Services
Experience working with CI/CD processes incorporating test automation
Experience with CA Agile Manager (Rally) or similar ALM tools
Working knowledge of automated deployment / DevOps tools and technologies
Working knowledge of source control management tools such as Git
Working knowledge of automated deployment / DevOps tools and technologies like Copado
Experience with modern architecture, API & event driven integration patterns across Salesforce platform and other applications.
Experience with data integration tools and technologies like Mulesoft and Talend What is a Must Have?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or its equivalent in work experience.
Three years of programming/development experience.
