3K - $37K a year 1 day ago 1 day ago 1 day ago Iowa Veterinary Specialties has an exciting opportunity for a full-time, professional Customer Service Representative (CSR) / Receptionist at our busy, 24-hour, 7 day a week, emergency & specialty animal hospital.
At this time, IVS currently has a full-time, daytime shift opening.
Hours would be between 7 AM - 7 PM, Monday-Friday, with rotating weekends.

As an IVS CSR, you work in direct cooperation with our emergency team to provide service to all IVS clients.
CSRs are responsible for addressing client needs and ensuring they have a good experience, ensuring the highest standards of customer service are met and we are exceeding all expectations.
As a skill set, CSR / Receptionist entails several qualities like active listening, empathy, problem-solving and communication.
This position is under the direction of the Operations Director.
CSR must adhere to all IVS policies and report to Hospital Administration.
This position assists all other departments as needed.
As an IVS CSR, you are responsible for the initial intake of emergency patients, obtaining accurate client information and reception duties to include client/referring veterinarian communication, discussing legal documents with clients, and collecting payments.
As an IVS CSR, it is necessary to demonstrate excellent communication skills, math skills, phone etiquette, compassion with difficult cases, and digital correspondence.
You are also to show the utmost professionalism when facilitating client transactions, and when responding to client questions and complaints.
