5K a year 2 days ago 2 days ago 2 days ago Iowa Veterinary Specialties has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Client Service Representative (CSR) / Receptionist at our busy, 24-hour, 7 day a week, emergency & specialty animal hospital.
We currently have an OVERNIGHT shift available with hours according to business needs.
Applicants must be flexible, self-driven/motivated, have a desire to continually learn, and be capable of assisting clients in sometimes difficult emotional situations.

As an IVS CSR, you would work in direct cooperation with our emergency team to provide service to all IVS clients.
CSRs are responsible for addressing client needs and ensuring they have a good experience, ensuring the highest standards of customer service are met and we are exceeding all expectations.
As a skill set, CSR / Receptionists use numerous skills like active listening, empathy, problem-solving, basic math and money skills, cleaning and communication.
This position is under the direction of the Operations Director.
CSRs must adhere to all IVS policies and report to Hospital Administration.
This position assists all other departments as needed.
In this role, you are responsible for the initial intake of emergency patients, obtaining accurate client information, and reception duties to include client/referring veterinarian communication, discussing legal documents with clients, and collecting payment.
As an IVS CSR, it is necessary to demonstrate excellent communication skills, phone etiquette, compassion with difficult cases, and digital correspondence.
You are also to show the utmost professionalism when facilitating client transactions, and when responding to client questions and complaints.
