As a Warehouse Processing Specialist specializing in Fire Protection Systems, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and the timely delivery of critical fire safety equipment.
This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a well-organized inventory of fire protection systems and related components.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of fire protection systems, equipment, and spare parts.
Conduct regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile any discrepancies.
Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering to ensure optimal inventory levels.
Order Processing:
Receive and process incoming shipments of fire protection systems and components.
Verify the accuracy of received goods, inspect for damages, and update the inventory system.
Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper packaging and documentation.
Quality Control:
Inspect incoming fire protection systems and components for quality and compliance with industry standards.
Report and address any defects, damages, or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Documentation:
Keep detailed records of inventory transactions, including receipts, shipments, and adjustments.
Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and other relevant metrics.
Communication:
Communicate effectively with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate the smooth flow of materials.
Address and resolve any issues related to inventory, shipments, or warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
