Work you'll do Duties include fiscal reporting requirements by the Agency in compliance with federal and state rules and regulationsReceive checks or money orders related to the work performed and shall process the payment in compliance with the Agency's standard operating proceduresPursue recovery of all credit balances or overpayments identified relating to the work performedThe Contractor shall pursue recoveries in accordance with Agency's procedures and timelinesReport any recoveries and assist the Agency and the Division of Fiscal Management in the reconciliation of the monthly Title XIX Recovery bank account per standard operating procedureTrack and reconcile all payments, including restitution(s) received against the account receivables and refer any outstanding overpayments to the Agency for administrative action (i.e., sanctioning, or other action)Responsibilities include reporting, tracking, and managing public payment systems and recovery transactionsThe team Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes-is designed for impactServing federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of over 15,000

years of management experience within government healthcare payment and recovery projects/programso Experience managing Medicaid payment systems and financial operationso 1
years of experience using Microsoft office suiteo Experience with Medicaid/Medicare fraud, waste, & abuseo 3

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
