Our work environment includes:
Modern office setting Food provided all continuing education and licensing paid by firm Duties:
- Provide services in all stages of family law cases, including divorce, child custody, guardianship and 236 protective orders.
- Conduct legal research using various resources such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis - Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence - Organize and maintain case files and documents - Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel - Schedule appointments, hearings, and depositions - Prepare trial exhibits and assist with trial preparation - Attend court hearings and trials with clients
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an attorney in family law - Strong knowledge of family law procedures and regulations - Proficient in legal administrative tasks and document management systems - Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft legal documents accurately and efficiently - Familiarity with legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis - Ability to conduct thorough legal research and analyze case law - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Note:
