Business Analyst

is seeking a Business Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our direct clients in Des Moines, IA This position is hybrid, 2 days per week will be onsite
Responsibilities:
Be part of a talented software team that works on mission-critical applications using Agile methodologies.
The project aims to modernize the UI Tax system by re-architecting its components to industry leading architecture and frameworks, with the goal of providing better service to both the agency staff and the end-users while positioning the agency for future technological improvements.
Responsible for preparing gathering and validating requirements, preparing requirement and process mapping documentation, and facilitating requirements sessions with business stakeholders and leadership.
The ideal candidate is a leader and strong team contributor who is eager to learn and develop their craft as a software professional and will find great satisfaction in the patient pursuit of excellence.
Required Skills:
10 Years - Involvement in prior technology implementations 10 Years - Leading requirements gathering and validation with staff 10 Years - Developing requirements documentation - Use Cases 10 Years - Testing system functionality against requirements and specifications.
10 Years - Training staff on system functionality as developed.
10 Years - General technical assistance 10 Years - Experience documenting end to end processes 10 Years - Background in Finance/Financial projects 10 Years - Experience mapping and documenting process flows 5 Years - Experience using Atlassian Suite - Jira, Confluence, etc.
This opportunity is available on a corp-to-corp basis or as a W2 position with a competitive benefits package.
