Summary:

High School diploma (or equivalent) or technical school Strong ability to work independently and manage meal service for 20 residentsSome food service work experience requiredGreat communication skills are requiredPrimary Responsibilities for Dietary Aide:
Handle, transport and plate food for residents, guests and employeesPlate food according to the planned menu using standard recipesPlate food items following portion guidelines and garnishing instructionsAssist other kitchen staff as neededPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisorEnsures that sufficient food is prepped and/or preparedCommunicates with supervisor of shortages or outagesEnsures freshness, cooking status and proper temperature of all food being servedMaintain all daily logs, postings and documentations required for meal services Stocks and cleans station for next shiftFollows proper food rotation policiesHandles food and equipment according to sanitation policies and procedures; Operates equipment in a safe mannerReports any discrepancies in his/her area to executive chefDelivers and retrieves food carts to and from satellite kitchensSets up service line and prepare for meal serviceWash, sanitize and properly store dishes and utensils from meal servicesMonitors and controls use of soap and cleaning agents in dishwasherMaintains cleanliness and sanitation throughout work areas Performs daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and proceduresScrubs and mops floors, cleans and sanitizes equipment; Inventories and stocks food and paper goods in satellite kitchensPrepares snacks and beverages for between-meal service to residentsReports malfunctioning equipment to the executive chefConsistently maintains a positive attitude which supports a team environmentPromotes positive public relations with residents, family members and guestsKnowledgeable of the resident rights, and ensures an atmosphere which allows for privacy, dignity and well-being of all residents in a safe, secure environmentMaintain safety, including universal precautions and safe work practices, established fire/safety/disaster plans, risk management and securityClean and inspect kitchen appliances and work areas in order to ensure cleanliness and functional operationPresent professional appearance by wearing uniform and name tagAs a Dietary Aide, you will maintain a positive attitude which supports team performance and productivityGeneral Working Conditions:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
