Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Wanted: Food Service Associate to prepare, assemble, deliver and serve meals to patients, families, and guests. This top quality associate with exceptional team initiative will work with Host/Hostess, patient room service operators, dietary staff, supervisors and managers to provide the best service for our patients every time. This individual must be highly self-motivated customer service focused with excellent communication skills in a time sensitive, fast-paced work environment. Responsibilities of this fast- paced position includes reading tickets, assembling patient trays, delivering, assisting in serving meals to ensure great food service to patients and guests according to specified guidelines; stocking and cleaning work areas, equipment, cleaning and sanitation including dishroom; performing specified cash handling duties and be able to understand special diets and use critical thinking skills. This customer service focused position may also set up food stations in the Caf and Caf outlets to include cashiering promoting quality and care in all aspects of daily performance. Consistently utilizes a holistic approach considering physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, safety and related criteria appropriate to age of the patients served in the assigned area. Qualifications/Experience
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide simple mathematical tasks. Previous food service experience or class preparation desirable but not required.
