Job Description:
Looking for Process Technician candidates with manufacturing or injection molding experience who are interested in the high-tech plastics industry. Company produces precision micro and small injection molded components for medical, micro-electronics, micro optics, automotive electronics and military/aerospace applications.
Candidates should have the ability to perform all of the tasks in the operation of the production injection molding machines and presses. Coordinate the process, methods and sequence for the production of injection molded plastic parts in Micro Mold Production or Small Mold Production. Provide support to production, design, tool room and customers to ensure dimensionally accurate parts. Takes responsibility for the production of plastic parts that meet or exceed the expectation of the customer.
Education/Experience. High school education coursework or GED required. Experience or training in manufacturing using quality systems Five years manufacturing experience in plastic injection molding with relevant knowledge of resins and plastic materials.
Computer Skills. Ability to operate personal computer, fax machine, copy machine and telephone required. Proven accuracy in keyboarding skills to enter data correctly and efficiently. Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word preferred.
Shift differentials:
2nd shift 2:00-10:30pm 5% Mon - Fri
3rd Shift 10:00pm-6:30am 15% Sun -Fri
4th Shift 6:00am-6:30pm Fri, Sat, Sun 15%
5th Shift 6:00pm to 6:30am Sat, Sun Mon 20%
Bottom Line Requirements:
1. High school education coursework or GED required.
2. Experience or training in manufacturing using quality systems
3. 5
years of manufacturing experience in plastic injection molding with relevant knowledge of resins and plastic materials.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
