Rebate Specialist I
Under direct supervision, performs entry-level bookkeeping and accounting tasks surrounding the rebate processing function. Posts journal or voucher entries, reconciles accounts, and checks for accuracy. Verifies, sorts, posts, and checks claims, bills, invoices, and vouchers. Scans, codes and distributes invoices. This is an entry-level position.RequirementsJob Requirements:
Three years' experience in a retail pharmacy, physician office or hospital setting, working with pharmacy and medical claims billing to identify and resolve basic to complex billing disputes. Knowledge of medical claims billing using a HCFA 1500 and UB-04 billing form helpful. Extra consideration will be given to Certified Pharmacy Technicians. Strong math, accounting, problem solving and decision making abilities. Experience in caseload management and dispute resolution documentation, tracking and reporting. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Programs. Must have excellent customer service skills for both internal and external clients.
